The day after he graduated from college Bill began his career as cameraman for a Columbus television station. A few years later he branched out on his own with both a film studio and a computer graphics business.
His experience in 3-D animation led to a job developing computer animation software and hardware. During his ten years in California, Bill produced interactive projects for companies like Intel, IBM, Sega, AMD, Hewlett Packard, and Microsoft while lecturing on the computer convention circuit, teaching multimedia, and co-authoring a textbook on the subject.
He returned to Ohio in the 21st Century, where he continues his production work, focusing on Web sites and interactive museum exhibits. He started a digital media curriculum for OSU’s Workforce Development Center, but fell in love with the campus at COTC, and accepted the position as head of the digital media program.
Bill still maintains his company, Interactive Engineers, producing animations and videos in order to stay current with digital media trends. He also writes and you can see some of his work at www.sattelmeyer.com.
