2007 graduateThe following excerpt is from an email Brooke sent to Bill Sattelmeyer and Kathleen Kinney that she allowed us to use.
I would like to take this time to thank you both as my teachers for helping me become the designer I am. I just finished my first month at FacilitySource as their new Graphic Designer. I feel that without you and the program that you have put together, I would not be as happy as I am, now doing what I love to do. You not only gave me the skills I needed but the confidence that is required to be a designer.
I guess what I am trying to say is that the Digital Media Design Program that you guys have fought so hard to make the best, truly is. So, even though as students we complained that it was too much work, too hard (or something we didn’t want to learn because we weren’t going to do that!) keep making [the students] do it! My new position has me working on things that I really didn’t like, but I wish I would have paid more attention in class now! Again, thank you for everything and keep up the great work in training the future graphic designers.
