At the Smithsonian
The DMDSO (Digital Media Design Student Organization) is a platform for students to collaborate, network, and serve the community. Members participate in community fundraisers that allow them to apply skills learned in digital media classes (although we have been known to participate in the occasional carwash).
DMDSO members not only are part of a very special community, they make lifelong friends and add valuable experience to their final portfolio. For more information go to the DMDSO Facebook page.
As an incentive to membership, a portion of the funds raised during the year pays for a trip to design centers around the country. In the last 3 years we've explored art, design, and architecture in Pittsburgh, Chicago and Washington DC.
